Research/ Clinical Expertise:
Investigating diseases of the vertebral column: focusing on understanding how the intervertebral discs degenerate and how to repair them. Research areas include: 1. biological changes after mechanical injury, 2. development of biological therapies to treat disc degeneration, and 3. evaluating the biomechanical aspects of novel spine therapies.
