Research/ Clinical Expertise:
Post-traumatic Joint Contractures: Loss of joint motion following injury is a disabling problem. Using human tissues and animal models, our laboratory is focusing on joint capsule abnormalities. Our multidisciplinary approach uses biomechanical, immunohistochemical and molecular techniques in addition to small animal surgery. Smaller clinical research studies are also performed.
