Research:

Articular cartilage biomechanics: the biomechanics of articular cartilage and cartilage cells (chondrocytes) and the detection and transduction of loading (mechanical/chemical) into biological responses by chondrocytes. These studies directly relate to the etiology, progression and treatment of osteoarthritis disease.
