Don’t miss Music in Motion in Edmonton!
Canadian singing sensation Nikki Yanofsky brought 1,000 people to their feet as she closed the Calgary venue for this year’s Music in Motion fundraiser with I Believe, the Vancouver Winter Olympics theme song.
The 17-year-old singer who wowed the world with her performances at the Olympics and Paralympics belted, crooned and purred a selection of jazz and pop greats at Calgary’s Jack Singer Concert Hall. She was joined by jazz legend Tommy Banks, the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, trumpet virtuoso Jens Lindemann and the Alberta Ballet.
Now, she’s headed to Edmonton for more of the same – all to raise funds for Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute and the McCaig Institute for Bone and Joint Health.
If you didn’t make it to the Calgary performance, mark your calendar for October 2 in Edmonton at Enmax Hall, Winspear Centre. Buy your ticket now!
Music in Motion is a unique fundraising event bringing together six dynamic organizations from across the province – committed to working together to create an outstanding bone and joint health care network for all Albertans.
Our goal is simple: To improve the care and rehabilitation that musculoskeletal patients receive across Alberta.
Proceeds from Music in Motion will be used to support the work of outstanding University of Alberta physical therapy students, dedicated to improving the care patients receive in Alberta. Your support will also fund the creation of a world class Bone Research Laboratory at the University of Calgary for the McCaig Institute. Together with the Alberta Bone and Joint Health Institute, our aim is to build and enhance patient-centered care that is accessible, efficient and world-class.
Join us for the second annual Music in Motion, an evening of musical entertainment in support of bone and joint health care. This year’s musical showcase includes the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra/Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Tommy Banks and special friends, and the Alberta Ballet. An event you don’t want to miss.
